*Devotional* – Trusting Prayer

Father,

There are many hurdles and troubles ahead for some people that are very close to me. I can only trust and pray to you that you understand their pain. I pray that though you are allowing them to face these hard times, you give them the strength and courage to get them through. I know Lord, there are times when you have allowed me to go through things I didn’t understand at the time but I would go back to the scriptures and see all those before me go through hardships and how you brought them through, and it gave me strength.

Moses had faith and trust he would see the promised land and you showed it to him. Abraham had faith and trust, and even Job. Poor Job, going through very hard times, he stayed strong in his faith and in the end you blessed him more abundantly than when his problems began. I pray for all my family that whatever they face they have the peace in their hearts only you can give and remember to just trust you and believe that you will give them comfort and courage.

Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Jehovah and depart from evil. Healing shall be to your navel and marrow to your bones.
